Early today Microsoft temporarily posted a Windows 7 Release Candidate download page on TechNet in preparation for the public release candidate evaluation. The page had a published date of May 2009 and said the download would be "available at least through June 2009." Microsoft has since removed the page and has not commented on the dates that were posted. It is likely the dates were just placeholders but they could provide a clue what months the RC will be final.
