Microsoft Planning "Major Announcements" with Windows 7 RC Release

Microsoft Windows OEM manager Laurence Painell told PC Pro that the company plans a "couple of additional, quite major announcements" at the time it releases Windows 7 RC. Painell also said the company is currently working hard to avoid the software and hardware compatibility issues that blighted the launch of Windows Vista.
