For this version, how long will it stay activated?

If you have a valid product key it will never expire. If you don't have a product key you have 30 days to enter one and activate or do the slmgr.vbs -rearm trick to extend it to 90 days.

So Steve, how do I do the "slmgr.vbs -rearm"? And then what happens if I don't like Windows 7 enough to buy it? Can I go back to XT?

Bearmon, if you activate with your MS VL MAK key it will never expire.

Amey, yes this is the final version.

David, See http://tweaks.com/39088 for how-to. Also, going back to XP after 7 requires a new install so you need a XP install disc.
