Free Utility: Windows SID Resolver

Windows SID Resolver is a free utility that will resolve a SID (security identifier) into the friendly user account name associated with it. Its perfect for trying to resolve a SID found in the registry such a in the HKEY_Users key.  Simply enter the SID S-1-5-19 into the utility and it will tell you it belongs to the NT AUTHORITY\LOCAL SERVICE account.  SID Resolver is compatible with any version of Windows that supports the .Net Framework 3.5.
