The Windows 7 world-wide launch is finally here. Starting out as codename Blackcomb, Vienna and finally win7 before officially becoming Windows 7, the latest release has a lot to offer consumers and IT professionals. Windows 7 was delivered on-time and without any last minute cuts of previously announced features like Windows Vista. Performance and the user experience is vastly improved and the response so far has been overwhelmingly positive. Now that the public can get their hands on the final code the real test begins.
