The buzz on the internet today is about a quote from Microsoft Partner Group Manager Simon Aldous from an interview with PCR where he says Microsoft attempted to "create the Mac look and feel" for Windows 7. Mr. Aldous was trying to explain how Windows 7 is easier to use similar to the perception of a Mac. Unfortunately, he basically said Microsoft tried to copy the Mac look prompting Brandon Leblanc on the Windows Team blog to post a correction and explain, "this came from a Microsoft employee who was not involved in any aspect of designing Windows 7."
Brandon Leblanc also mentioned there are a number of blog posts on the E7 blog about exactly how Windows 7 was designed. Specifically, the new task bar that is the most controversial issue among fanboy copyologists.
