HDMI competitor, DisplayPort , runs things over on PC. Im not sure if competitor is even the right word to use here because both HDMI and DisplayPort stay in their own lane. For starters, a TV doesnt have a DisplayPort option, even if you want to plug in a cable. PC has HDMI options, but it really feels like youre supposed to be using DisplayPort cables .
